scores, attendance, track % completed vs. scheduled
- Corrective
Action Closure – Incident investigations, compliance audits, % closed vs.
schedule to be closed
- Inspections
conducted – Number of corrective actions
- Safety
Suggestions
- Near Miss (or
Hit) Reporting
- Behavior Based
Safety -- % participation vs. number of employees
- Safety Work –
Orders completed vs. orders submitted
- Audits -- %
unsafe conditions found
- Safety
Management System Implementation Grade
- Show “Specific
group activities at $cost has resulted in an improvement of $costs”
- Need real
numbers – not “imagined” numbers of avoided accident costs
- Track against
lagging indicators such as the number of accidents, productivity,
downtime, etc.
Please remember to give me a brief summary of what you are
reporting to the LEPC at each
meeting. This really helps in getting
the meeting minutes accurate. Many
thanks-Penny!
